Greenwheels leads the way when it comes to car sharing. Our company was founded in 1995 with a clear vision: to make cities more liveable. There are more than 80 of us at the moment in the Netherlands, working hard each day to achieve this. After all, by sharing cars with one another, we can free up more space on the street for fun things like plants and places to play.
One Greenwheels car has 30 different drivers on average, and means there are 11 fewer other cars on the road. That means 28,600 fewer cars in our cities! And because many of our customers have also been using a bike or public transport since they've been driving our cars, we're also reducing CO2 emissions by 345kg per year. How great is that? Naturally, there's a lot more to do and we want to make even more of an impact. That's why our mission is "a car for everyone", so no-one has any reason not to drive a Greenwheels car.
